Canon ImagePress C7000VP

I am looking to see if there is an approved media guide for this device, listing papers and films by manufacturer, and if so, where this might be obtained. Any directions someone might provide would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

mark

If you work for Canon authorized dealer you can try Canon E-support.

Thanks but I don't. We are a 3rd party media supplier for display graphics imaging and one of our customers has asked for info related to someone elses paper product, Mohawk Kromekote 12 pt. Metallic Silver. Just trying to do a little extra effort for the client.

Thanks Screwtape. I've gone through every page of Canon's site and not found an approved media guide for the 7000VP.

I'm pretty sure such a beast exists. Are there any service techs that work on these machines that have this guide or that can direct me to a site to download it?

Thanks

Canon has a single media guide that covers all of their devices. It only has information relating to Canon branded media. The imagepress machines do have a media guide built into the device, called the Media Library. It does contain specific brands of paper. Supposedly those are the approved papers that have been tested in the device. I haven't seen the info your looking for in print.

This does have the Canon paper that is compatible for the cl7000 look under the imagepress sections.
