Please elaborate on the code your see. Need the code you see on the LED. Does it start with E? There are alot of error codes that start with 'E' followed by three other numbers. Like a 'E202' or 'E001'. They are the first of a 2 part code. You need the first half to determine the area problem is and the second half to know where the problem is most likely associated with.
If the code is 'E000' and then '0001' "the main thermistor or sub thermistor has been identified as being faulty, or an open circuit has been detected"
If the code is 'E002' and then '0001' "the reading of the main thermistors in excess of 100 degrees C and there after it does not reach 150 degrees within 15 seconds."
Hope this helps you. You can also check the heater lamp to see if the connection is okay.

The IR6570 does not have heater lamps it uses an inductive coil. There are 3 thermistors two of them (the main and shutter thermistors) come as a single part. The sub thermistor is a separate part. The shutter thermistor tends to lift off the fuser roller when the reciprocating mechanism drives it across the roller. Pay close attention to correct routing of its wire harness. The second portion or "sub code" of the error code will direct you to which thermistor caused the error. Another thing to note is that if the user followed the instructions on the screen and powerd the machine down using the hard power switch the sub code will change to a 010. This just tells the tech that the user tried to reset the error. Why Canon thought this would be usefull is beyond me. You will need to look at the error history to find the first instance of the E001 and then you can see the sub code that will direct you to the problem thermistor. You must perform an error clear in service mode and cycle hard power to clear the error. This machine has the worst fuser design I have ever seen. The problems are many and Canon's solutions are of little or no help.
Use Stabilizer voltage...at least 3000kV.

What part number did you use for thermistor assembly? Make sure it is FM2-9766-000....known problem with original thermistors...different clips and turret wire routing
