Imagepress C1 not heating up "new info"
I Have all service,parts,circuit diagrams
Printer warming up problem! Just stays at warm up
NO Errors.
The AC relay board good
AC relay good
AC sub good
THM1-6 and TH1,2,3 good (fuser assy)
drawer connector (all connections) good
Heater elements good
All fuses good
Door switch circuit 24V good (AC Relay on and off)
side door (bypass) assy Good
The Led1 on the DC controller PCB (center) keeps blinking
does not stay on.
there is an error somewhere not letting the AC sub pcb
not letting the 4 triacs cycle on the AC relay PCB
the blinking LED1 DC controller PCB I thought should be a stedy "on"
Nothing will startup until the Fixer/fuser warms up to temp.
There is a problem somewhere else
any Ideas?
Dont think its the DC controller PCB
looking for somewhere else the would
that would "latch" the error to IC68
that controls the 4 circuits to the AC sub (opto iso) to the AC relay PCB
that "turns on" the heaters.
The heaters must get up to temp before the the rest of the
main copier can "cycle"
no help from local CBS dealer

Hi,
If error codes do not appear it could be a firmware, have you tried to re-flash it?

Thanks for the reply
We did reflash the firmware
But the problem was in the switches along with the needed update
on that firmware
The ones that were NOT shown in any of the Diagrams
in the circuit path
seems that SW3 had a few fun things for you not to find!

Hi,
if you have an AC PCB, DC PCB or FUSER PCB problem, the machine will give you a related error code like this:
- E000 to E006 for fixing unit
- E227 for power supply 24V
- E351 for main controller pcb
In your case it seems that the machine "freeze" during warming up and it sound like a corrupted firmware or HDD problem.
Can you enter in service mode and check for motors/fans correct working?

Re: Imagepress C1 not heating up "new info"
if someone still heave this problem, its Fault of Manual Feed door's open close sensor. some wire are damaged. in your case it can be front door sensor also. it's indicates door open close status but not working fully. check this two sensor. 100% working solution.
thanks.
