Dont give up on me yet! ok its a Canon "CCCW"

I know I know, this ones a real pisser
just goes into "printer warming up"

I posted tons of info on this C1 and its getting down to
    this DC controller PCB
The LED1 in the center of this board is where this LED1 is
    and its blinking..not steady "on"
The fuser assy thru the drawer connector to the AC sub to the AC controller.........all good connections.
ALL Good connections and the semiconductors all ck good
    triacs,opto's,diode"s,caps in the heater circuit

all the thermo sensors and thermostats good
door switches 24v good (AC relay)

There IS a therm _error _latch_ to pin #1 IC68 that
"can" shut down the "on signal " to main, sub, outside, belt sig to the triacs for the Fuser to heat and start the cycle. page 33 in the circuit diag.

On start up the DC controller LED1 blinking is getting an error somewhere else. If I remember the LED1 should be steady "on"

Somewhere else in the error detector circuit, but it looks as if all of it is on the DC controller board.

The killer here is that it will NOT show any errors on startup.
    CPU? not resetting?

cm'on guys this ones a real tough one
someone here MUST have had this problem!
And of course to call Canon they said
"we have not seen this at all but we will be in touch"

    Are you kidding?
Talk about a product Canon "pushed like cocain" 3 years ago
and BAIL on it like a cheap whore..........
I am laughing right now typing this......ha ha ha

    That's It....I have a NEW name for the C1
The "CANON C1 COKE Whore" OR "CCCW"
Looked like a good idea at the time,
    couldn't cope,
    got hooked,
    sold out,
    scank now!

Gives a new meaning to "V TONER" don't it!
And that Clear toner???? 100% pure "H"
that why its so expensive, but you dont give a shit!

    THE next one is the
    "REHAB C1+" ......ha ha haha

From now on thats what I will call'em!

Canon's are notorious for HDD causing the exact problem you describe.
Stuck in "Printer warming up" message on display. Replace the HDD and reload software.

Ever notice there are no error codes for the main controller itself? (351 is the sub-pbc)
If the main controller is operating correctly it will give you an error to let you know where there is a problem. If the problem is the main controller itself, how can it tell you that? It can't, the copier will just lock up.
I wouldn't get too far into troubleshooting fuser errors if you aren't getting any codes. The boot process doesn't complete until you see the operation screen on the display, and a green light. So if it never turns green you have a boot problem meaning HDD or main controller, not necessarily a fuser problem. I'm guessing the DC controller sees a problem with the main controller and stops the warm-up process.

    Thanks DLP
    The screen does boot up.
Green light start, and you can get into the menus
    and svc mode.
    BUT

the CPU should send a reset to the DC controller
thats where I see that problem .

The Main Dc controller board has LED1 blinking in the center of the board.
Thought that was just stay "on"
When its blinking. its "thinking" but not sending the Reset the
"unlatch fuser err " to the IC 68 pin#1
Thats the "send" circuit to the AC sub opto iso board that
then goes to the AC controller triacs

Your right its not the fuser assy or the drawer connector.

    SOOOOO

The DC controller IS seeing a problem!
And will NOT let the DC controller the signal to let the AC sub turn on the
    AC controller to the heaters.

Big question the "boot Process" seems to complete and get to the screen
    "printer warming Up"
but you can get into all the other screens.

Crap is it that simple a friggin HDD died or a bad boot sequence!
I can pull the HD and install another one
I have all of the software, tons of disks

Just have to find the right one
I am thinking that replacing the HDD and keeping the old one just in case
    cant harm the CPU
DLP this could be the fix dude!

Any other thoughts just keep em coming,
    Cant thank you enough DLP

I hope that works for you.
Sounds like the DC controller is doing what it is supposed to, but the main controller is not doing what it is supposed to, meaning it should see a problem and give you a an error code to work with.

    Hope your still here,
I am doing a HD -check "0" in the svc mode got an "OK"
The boot up screen looks normal but goes right into
warm up with the LED1 blinking on the DC controller.

I have the sst v4.11 and all the T1 software for the server
I know I have the register the firmware to the sst.
This is a first for me on this C1

Cant seem to find the C1 system CD.......
Or as i have read a Backup on the HHD might be there.
The Hdd IS booting and the screen goes in all settings

The Decon and recon look as if thats the Problem on boot up
    heres my theroy.

On startup the Dc control is "latched off" for the Fuser assy
Untill the proper boot seq is started
Thats where your pointing to on the HDD boot seq.

This would make perfect sense if you cant get an error on startup
and goes right into the default screen but all settings seem to work.

I asked if anyone here has a C1 system CD
    Thanks D_L_P !
