Yes, rebuild the fuser-the rollers can pick up a flat spot causing all kinds of screwy jams/errors. Also some of the upper web assembly will drop material into the fuser section as well.

There is a tech pub concerning this and if my mention of spacing out the conn had no effect than I would recommend getting the updated conn and springs for the machine side connn. This can be a bitch of a code but it definitely has to do with the conn between fuser and machine side conn.
Good luck and let us know! BTW I have swapped a mach for this code after doing everything under the sun! I service 70 of these so I have seen just about evrything.

Well i finally got back to it, and it was the Fuser roll, thanks for the tips on this problem.
I cannot find the part number for the Finisher R-1 front cover, it is broken.
My service manual doesn't get into the finisher.
