the solenoid SL 3 is the one on the right side.
This solenoid can be checked in the service mode COPIER > FUNCTION > PART-CHK. High light or select SL. Enter # 9 and then select SL-ON. Next press the OK button. SL 3 will activate 3 times. Check to see if the plunger is moving in and out. If it is check if the deflector is moving up and down.
The part number to the solenoid is FL2-1205-010.
The part number to the 3rd paper delivery flapper is FL2-1208-030.

This is what I had mention about the flapper delivery, check out those felt pads, the orange circle.
The spring also breaks off, the blue circle. By the way Tekcat, nice ilustrations.

    Your talking about a 4570?
    DCON's version is now 30.02
    System is 40.03.

I don't see any details about jam code 0107, but i'm sure upgrading DCON should help.

One of the procedures that you may be referring to asks that you have the machine upgraded to at least that level, it is much higher now. It is a good idea to upgrade it anyway. The reason had to do with the ability to play with the fixing temperature to reduce curl.. I did that to about 4 machines of mine, it did indeed reduce the curl and jams where the paper was diving into the drum clean area. I have had to set 2 of them back to normal during the winter weather here, as they were having fusing issues due to the cooler temps...
