    IR5000

    unit comes on and display just says wait....gives no error codes...will not go into service mode..I even tried turning power off and holding the 2 and 8 down and turning power back on, but still will not do anything or go to service mode...just comes on and seems to cycle and then just say wait.......PLEASE HELP!!!!

    Your HDD may be shot.
    Firmware can be corrupted.
    Or it can be memory(dimms).

    Those are some of the things to look at first.

    That's right just replace maincontroller for testing.

    reseat all connectors the DIMMS after cleaning contacts with an eraser or main controller

    try this first>clean the contacts on the Memory Dimms with some alcohol. Re-insert into the board and check operation.

    did u try hold on 1 & 9 key and power up ??
