Hi, I'am having problem with the 4570 also, I bought for export 15 copier and didn't have the HDD. I have one copier in my warehouse complete and with working with HDD. Can I use the HDD of the one that is working to clone and then put the new clone HDDs to the remaining of the copier. Please help.

how do u know all the HDD's are working
or Canon firmware compatible if replacing them ??

Personal choice for me = Better to use SST & 4570 FIRMWARE

I said that this copier can without the HDD . I don't have the time and the SST to install on this machine, and I need to ship them ASAP. and this seem the fastest way in resolving it.

What is so fast about cloning ???
    Two Points
1.all 15 HDD's need to be formated & removed before Clone
    2.all 15 HDD's need to functioning
    3. u need to re-install all & test all

With the SST & Firmware u don't need to remove the HDD's
    simple & fast

i have the same problems, if i use sst n connect to the machine it takes longer time, n i have so many broken hdd..

can i formated the hdd using fat 32? or i should format with fat16..? coz fat 16 just working on 2GB hdd size..

anyone can give me the resolution for my problems beside using sst...?
