Canon C1 error light blinking above display, nothing found

I can't find one error, machine is working fine, copy, print etc... There is nothing in the cue indicating problems, whatever was - it has been cleared; shows up after reboot, too. Annoying but otherwise machine is working OK

The same here. Is this a C1 imagepress?
Can you explain more on this issue.
As you said there's no problem copy or printing so I'm a bit confused.

thanks guys, it is C1 imagepress indeed. It cleared itself up, for no apparent reason; the problem kept sitting there over the weekend manifesting itself with blinking 'error' light over the panel, and nobody claims rebooting fiery; machine was being rebooted a number of times, it didn't help.
Mystery continues, I just don't want it show up again...

    Of little help

But if it was blinking all weekend, maybe it did not go away - the bulb may be out.

Completely different machine, but I had a simular issue and it turned out it was an alarm. Go into service mode and see if you have something in ALARM2 (mine was an open door that did not stop the unit from functioning).

There were two error fax messages, but no one claims to have sent them (sent from a particular workstation) - but I cleared it, and at that point it didn't change anything.
Next time @ machine will check the alarm2

*****make sure when u or someone else turns of this printer> to follow the shutdown procedure for this model> i have had clients flipping the power switch on/off with no idea on of the correct way. flipping that switch and not checking the print que causes issues/ u have frustrated users when they have a simple jam> or a job locked up, first thing they reach for is that power switch.
