make sure u have at least v12.08 / it address that issue of process speed for two-sided printing.

is it while using DADF for scans or thru Network operations ???

It prints 3-4 A4 and looks like it stops and starts again.Maybe it prints 20-30 duplexed papers in a minute and is to much slower than Toshiba e-studio 550(55 ppm).

It happens when i print from computer using network connections.
My IR 105 has also usb printing options!
Maybe is better if i use that port and not network controller?

If they are PDF files, then yes , try using a post script driver if your not using one.
PDF's have a history of printing slow as well.

try printing 2 copies of the same file and see if the 2nd copy is running at the same speed as 1st or fatser

I'd give that a try before I'd mess with usb, which is slower. There are several things to try for printing slow, but since there is a firmware update addressing specifically duplex I'd try that 1st.

Are you a tech or end user?
Does this have the Fiery controller or the built in Canon controller? We had one it turned out to be the Fiery was not compatible with their DOS programs.

For slow printing in general, not just duplex.
    At Copier:
Turn on print after completing RIP
    Turn off spooler

    At Copmuter:
    Try different driver
Change from immediate to Start printing after last page is spooled
    Try Print directly to printer
Make true LPR port or switch to RAW port 9100 or turn off LPR byte counting
Don't use print server, print local

There's more but I think the newer version is your best bet.

My IR 105+ has a integrated controller and not a Fiery like my CLC3200.
I am using PCL6 drivers and not PS drivers.
Now i will install latest PS drivers to see what happens !!!!
