    Check power supply - replace if necessary..

    E064 Power supply voltage error
    (high-voltage error)

    Make sure the Developing bias value is set incorrectly.
    Check the setting of COPIER>ADJUST>DEVELOP>DE-DC in service mode. Compare this value with that of the service label. If the setting is found to be out of adjustment, set the value back to door specifications. After making the adjustments, run some continuous copies to check for occurrence of the code. Since this value is maintained by the DCON the same adjustment is required after replacement of the DC controller.

    Make sure that the transfer roller hasn't popped out of place

    Check that the Pressure Plates (Leaf Springs) for the Transport Section are in good condition and making good contact with the Transport Bed.leaf..jpg

    i ve had to replace transfer roller for this issue couple of times.
    a machine is only as good as your tech : source:screwtape ; the scary one

    if the drum leaks it also makes E64 ,so replace it if deteriorated.
