Whenever I'v seen prints like that, it turns out that the upper fuser roller has flat spots. You can probably hear it rattling as it prints. The ufr (FB6-3641) can be replaced by itself, but you need to be careful on nip width. Tension springs should be adjusted to a length of 31.5mm so that center of nip-chk print should be about 9mm.

System monitor, bottom right of the control panel screen>Consumables.
If you don't see anything pertaining to drum life, then its not set up in service mode.
You can get better readings in service mode for your drum.
PG5 would be a good suggestion, but we know you have problem with cyan, the attachment speaks for it.

    try the CYAN DRUM
/ always have printer off when replacing DRUM/ then turn on

have u looked at ITB image ?? if it only effects one color why would U replace UFR ??
keep it simple at first/have u tested on other prints with other colors ?

for some reason, i have had issues on the /4080/5180 series / some drum units seem to overtone on surface & when they do only fix is to insert a new drum. the symptom shows up when u start auto gradation/ u see background in white area of effected color/ u pull out drum and surface is covered with toner/ when i called Canon, they recommended the keep power off >>insert drum & or toner if needed >> power up >> do your gradation adj's. ever since doing this procedure for over 3yrs., have no overtone issues. They originally thought it was Drum lot #'s/ but it wasn't.

The original post stated full color and a subsequent post stated "every time I print full color" and the sample I was referring to was simply the sample image that was included in the original post.

If you look closely at the full page scan, you'll notice that the characters in the area of the lines (d & e in attendance, 9 in 2009) appear stretched. This is due to the flat spotting of the ufr. If you are uncomfortable with replacing the ufr, replace the whole fixing unit (fg6-9069). Yeah I know, it's pretty expensive!

Good info on the overtoning. I do get that from time to time, particularly magenta. Guess I'm powering down now whenever I change drums.
