    Connecting Imagepass M1 to ir7095

    Hello,

I have a ir8500 that I would like to take the m1 from and connect to our new 7095. I have been researching on the forum how to do so and feel like I need some more direction. I have done the int-cont setting to 3 (which was the setting on the 8500) I ran setup and set factory defaults from the M1 front end UI. Where I am stuck is when the m1 establishes connection it displays "Device mismatch" and forces shut down. any suggestions??

    Thanks!

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm about 99% sure that you need an imagePASS S2 for your print engine; I don't think the M1 will work.

You can try setting the int-cont to 4 just to see if that helps, but I think the M1 is too old to support the newer engine.
