    Unhappy help with ir-5020

I really need someones help,I need to remove the fixer assembly from this machine, but the right side track is stuck,(more like locked) in a position
that I cant release the first locking tab. I have removed the duplex tray and tried to reach the track release from underneath, but it did not work, does anyone have any idea
    how to release it? Thanks.

There's really no right way of doing this. You might just have to force it out. You also might have to order a rail.

I think Screwtape is right. You can try lifting as you pull, but forcing it is the best way to describe it. The rail is either broken or the screws came loose, but there is a good chance you may end up replacing the rail.

The bearing balls that sit on a track come out of place.

Screwtape is right. Get ready to use a pry bar or a heavy screwdriver to break the rail open and get the ball bearing out. Have had to do this one too many times myself.
PS have someone there to help you.
