    canon irc3380 jams

    i have a 3380 with some jamming issues. very spuratically it jams exiting the fuser, the lead edge just past the black paper guide. the machine has 175k on the meter, the fuser was rebuilt less than 20k ago with oem parts. the machine has the updates to the lower door and paper guides as well. please help. thanx

    I believe these have the same foam pad issue for the black plastic guide above the fuser exit, sticky pads can create this jamming issue...

    Just as Mr Fixit suggested.

    There's delivery flapper that sits right above the exit delivery of the fixing unit. Not the one on the fixing assy, Its on the right side door.

    There are pads on the ends of the flapper,left side and right side. they get sticky and the flapper gets stuck to them. Check that if you haven't.

    The no.2 circle is what we are referring too.
