Yes I'm connected via crossover cable and am operating on a 64bit. Thank you so much for the attachments, I was finally able to update the firmware to the latest version but to no avail. The "Close Upper Cover" message is still displayed.
Does this sound like it could be my cover switch voltage? Or am I just being too hopeful in thinking I can do anything other than replace the main board?
