    canon ir 4570 e202-002

    Can any one say how to rectify this error
    is it related to home position sensor cuz i have tried 2 solve it by replacing home position sensor with new one

    cis home position or reader controller pcb is faulty

    hi...there is an error in the detection of the CIS home position..as recomended in the sm.disconect then conect the harness conector..replace the following as necessary
    scanner home position sensor
    scanner motor
    reader controller PCB
    i wish you good luck

    check that crapy harness connector
    !
    When u pull CIS back away and power up does motor move it forward or attempt to move ???
    did u check J506 for CIS HP SIGNAL> PS503 on Reader pcb.
    J506 copy board cover open/closed sensor; connects to the CIS HP
    sensor

    R-CON
    ADDRESS>
    P008
    0- Lamp ON signal 1:ON

    1- CIS drive ON signal 1:ON
    **Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**

    I had a 2270, very early in it's life pop that code. Optics never were driven home. Reader board was my fix...
