Check this out TCP/IP in canon ir3300. I think you can use the ethernet if the firmware is new enough. But that might not help you.

thnx 2 all of u 4 ur great help I'm gonna try it with a bi-centronics parallel cable coz I'm not able 2 arrange nethawk cable I'm gonna let u all knw if i'm suceesful

I've installed the nethawk cable on 3 different laptops now, on 2 of them I had to find a good working 5000 or 2200 to get the cable working. Then I could connect to the bad (E602) copier. The 3rd laptop I didn't wait until I was out in the field in front of a down machine, I set it up using a good machine as soon as I got the laptop.

If you have access to a computer with a parallel port then I'd just go with that.
