btw i got the 7105. the machine looks solid build. My work starts only from august middle so the machine is idle for now. After that its 24/7 for a month. hope it runs through.

I had 3 machine of this model .I gave back 2. Wasnt robust as I wanted. Didint run like the 605's,7200 series . Lots of plastic parts . Lots of people I know are facing similar issues that I had. Dosent command much value in the Indian market.

Canon loves plastic, have gotten used to it. It wont go away, more to come.

Unfriendly fuser is the only real problem I have incurred with these. Truly not as robust as the 7200 series, but that is what the 7086-7105 series is for... Put it in the right environment and it works well.
Agreed....if I had to pick something bad to say about that model------the fuser is tough to service but otherwise a great box.

I always liked the 6570. Apart from the fuser. Agree , Canon now got stock in Flimsyplastics.com
