If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Great test charts/ but i have learned, anytime a tech or a salesman start showing Color test charts to a customer , you are obligated to meat the demands of the customer, without a leg to stand on. The test chart Color & Grey Scale are very deceiving , it all depends on customers environment, paper, & machine maintenance, and their understanding of the range of Color. I never carry or use them , and when a customer whips out a test chart, I tear it up.

    cool
Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.

I think that most of us use them as a before and after comparison for any work we do on the machines and I guess it's up to the individual tech as to whether or not they show this to the customer.
I have no issues showing before and after test chart copies to them.
Dealers/Service Managers that I've worked for ALWAYS ask "so what did the test chart copies look like" when you report back to them so there are occaisions where you really need to use them.
