    Clc 900 e020 03c0

Have an issue with my old CLC900. After printing a colour document the system stops with an E020 once it started processing Y.

Going in to the service menu I see we get SGNL-Y 1023.

The service manual states "During a copying sequence, the average of the values of SGNL-M,C,Y is '1013' or more.

After removing the document from the transfer drum I see the Cyan and Magenta toner on the paper minus the Black and obviously the yellow.

Power the machine back on and the RIP re-sends the document and it prints.

Any ideas or can someone point me in the right direction. Trying to learn how to fix this machine myself.

you have to change the start developer in the yellow unit and go through the adjustment process in the book. I used to turn Pascal off, change the starter and then turn Pascal back on. It is best to change all four colors at the same time on those models. Good luck
