Mailbox Functions
1GB RAM and 40GB Hard Disk Drive (Standard)
The imageRUNNER 7105/7095/7095 Printer/7086 devices ship standard with 1GB RAM and a 40GB Hard Disk Drive. This vast memory capacity provides the virtual space to accept jobs sent to the device from multiple users simultaneously, and gives rise to a number of digitally enabled copy functions.
The 40 GB HDD is used to store up to 20,000 pages or up to 2,000 documents in memory for short- or long-term storage in 100 User Mail Boxes. Settings can be adjusted to hold scanned data and forms allowing the imageRUNNER 7105/7095/7095 Printer/7086 devices to serve as on-site document archival solutions.
The imageRUNNER 7105/7095/7095 Printer/7086 models have an increased mailbox capacity over the imageRUNNER predecessors. Please see the chart below for a detailed comparison.
Cascade and Remote Copying
This productivity-enhancing feature allows the user to leverage the power of other imageRUNNER 7105/7095/7086 devices connected to their network by splitting or sending the output to another device. The user can double their productivity and direct their output to a point of need. A remote imageRUNNER device can print an original scanned document from the users machine independently (remote copying) or simultaneously (cascade copying).
Note: Remote and Cascade Copying is standard and does NOT require the Multi-PDL Printer Kit or Universal Send. The only requirement is for the devices to be connected on the same network and each has a registered IP address. Cascade and Remote Copying can only be done between devices in the same family, and can be done with devices with different printing speeds within the same family. Remote and Cascade Copying is NOT possible between the iR105+/9070/8070 series and the iR7105/7095/7086 series.
