    saddle finisher ad2

I have a saddle fin ad2-skews some of the sheets while making 11x 17 booklet.
One of our techs has taken the assembly apart and cleaned the folding rollers-better but still a little wonky. The folding rollers have never been ordered before according nto canon.
Was hoping someone here had some suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Make sure your Finisher AD1/2 Stacker is ver.07.01
for Booklet issues/Check your Saddle Stapler Mount Assembly Bracket for Movement. If the bracket is loose tighten / secure the Mount Bracket .
don't think there is an adjust for this issue/ u may be able to adj the inner side plate/ it is usually behind the stitch controller in these simalar Finisher units.
This unit holds the copies when fed into the saddle stitch assy and is raised up and down according to the size of the paper and booklet. The position of this unit determines the fold and staple area and since its base is fixed in position there are no formal adjustments. However, you can loosen the screws and slightly move the assembly, usually enough to eliminate a slight skew

    SERVICING PROCEDURE
Perform the following steps to reduce the friction force of the return roller.

    1. Turn OFF the main power.

      Finisher Controller PCB
      [4]
      SW104
      [5] SW103
      [6] SW setting for SW104
    2. Remove the rear cover and turn ON bit numbers 1, 3, 5, 6, and 8 on DIP SW 104 [4] on the Finisher Controller PCB [6].

      Paper Delivery Section
      [7] Swing Guide
[8] Five (5) sheets of plain paper
      [9] Processing Tray
    3. Lift the swing guide [7] with your hand and insert five (5) sheets of plain paper [8] into the processing tray [9].
    4. Turn On the main power and press SW103 [5] on the Finisher Controller PCB to start the rotation of the return roller. The swing guide goes up and the return roller rotates in the pull-in direction causing wear to the return roller.
    5. After 20 to 30 minutes press SW103 again to stop the operation.
    6. Turn OFF the main power and turn OFF all the SW 104 switches.
    7. Check the operation of the equipment.

    * NOTE: Do not touch or clean the surface of the return roller.
