IR-C5180 Copy color default?

Hey guys, is there anyway that I can default this machine to do black copies on default, but still have FULL color as an option? Here's what I did......

Additional Functions
system settings
scroll to page 4/4
Color Mode for copy
use auto color select - turned off
use full color - off

I thought that did it but apparently it only gives single color and then 2 colors without a full color option for copying.

I turned use full color back on, but then it defaults to full color.

ideas?

Set the copier up the way that you want it to look on power up, then go into additional functions and set it as the default.

You just need to set it to default to B/W.
Set it to B/W then go into Custom copy settings to the last page. Look for "Standard Copy Settings" and hit store.
This will lock the default to B/W but still allow you to select auto/full color when you need to.

There is another way to setup department ID's just for color but this will have the ID mode as the default screen.

Mr Fixit is correct. You weren't far off. You set on the main screen your settings (ie B/W mode) then go in to additional functions, then Copier, then scroll down till you see... I believe the choice is store. At that point you have the default done.
