    when u re-plug HDD in & power up if u don't see the 602 pop up in the upper left corner of the dark screen , turn that contrast button to light ,look in corner for code.

    first cheap way= i would first replace Fuse pcb

    I get no code at all when HDD is reconnected. Where is the fuse PCB located? I don't have the SM on this unit we do have the C3200 though.

    both Fuse Pcb's in same location

    Fuse PCB (FG3-3020-000)

    To add on - Power up printer- be careful while doing checks
    Remember> To check the fuses use frame ground for your volt meter negative lead and measure both sides of the fuses for your vdc

    I don't see anywhere in here that states firmware has been done. Format the HDD and install newest firmware. Sounds like machine fires up...if it is print capable launch the RUI to see if it comes to ready or if any issue.

    waste of time to A Format HDD that will not respond to 1 & 9 defrag. / u also need to have control panel function to get in SST download mode

    stick a hdd loaded with firmware in it and see what happens. Machine is starting to boot obviously. Start with the simple stuff.
