have u tried to do a FULL ADJUST-AUTO CALIBRATION / before playing around with Lasers ?
did u remove & inspect the ITB UNIT's position ?
what TEST PRINTS have u printed out for inspection / especially the PG6 Grid

    ============================
    E751-1302

E751 The connection of the drum unit /toner container is faulty.
    The mark x indicates color [Y=1, M=2, C=3, K=4].

000x The connection of the drum unit (at the printer side) is faulty.
100x The connection of the toner container (at the printer side) is faulty.
010x Built-in memory writing error in the drum unit.
110x Built-in memory writing error in the toner container.
020x Built-in memory data error in the drum unit.
120x Built-in memory data error in the toner container.
030x Built-in memory writing error in the drum unit (When the number of retry exceeds the
    specified value)
130x Built-in memory writing error in the toner container (When the number of retry exceeds
    the specified value).

means there is an issue with the toner system. The machine is checking for the presence of toner.

check your MAGENTA Drum/ & Magenta Toner Cartridge

Not to hi-jack this thread but, I am having a similar problem. I have tried most of what's advised here; new cleaner, cleaned all sensors, cleaned rollers of ITB assy, cleaned inside of ITB, new ITB, realigned lasers. The ITB gear, ITB swing arm gear, and ITB drive great are all perfect; I have even watched the ITB gears while running more crappy copies and there is no skipping or slippage. Most of what I have done has yielded little or no improvement of color alignment. The black is perfectly in position when making copies or prints, each successive color is further out of place. It seems too uniform and repeatable to be something slipping. And, each color is almost perfectly spaced between the black lines. The yellow is the same distance from the black as the magenta is from the yellow, the even spacing makes me think there's something else at work here but no clue what (and fully understand I could be wrong about that hunch).

Believe it or not that was PG6! Ended up clearing dc-con out of pure desperation and that took care of it. I don't know how this problem started but, glad it's over. Thank you all for the expertise you all gave so freely; finding this thread/forum really helped me more than I can say.
