If its an auto grad you want there is a tool that can be used. Its called CC-100 Gradation Adjust Tool. It may be available from the Canon website. This supposedly allows you to do an auto grad without the scanner. Not too sure how it works. Good luck.

waste of time and effort to keep switching and installing a READER unit every time u need to calibrate .

Quick Adjustment: This is a quick and simple adjustment that is made to the gradation, density, and color settings of the machine. Re-calibrations are made internally without outputting any test prints.

In order to perform the Quick Adjustment :
    1. Press the Additional Functions button.
    2.Select Adjustment/Cleaning.
    3.Choose Auto Gradation Adjustment.
4.Select the paper type for the gradation adjustment.
    5. Press Quick Adjust.
    6.Hit Start.
    7.Press Done.

Note: The machine automatically adjusts the amount of toner and the speed of printing depending on the paper type selected.

    simple is always easier'

If the machine has an Imagepass, you can do a VisualCal. It takes a while but you can get excellent results. Remember its an irc3200, not an Imagepress....don't expect Pantone matching

20 min but you get great results...sometimes better than using reader. 3200 reader is not the greatest

Thanks all of you, Main Unit auto adjustment is OK, We tried to used quick adjustment, but copy not desirable.
Afterward we connected the reader , then the copy was acceptable. we only set up W/SCan To 1 and change the value of PASCAL is OK, others no need to change as same value.
As we don't have Imagepass and VisualCal, so this part can not be made.
