Hardware Tech Tips
imageRUNNER ADVANCE C7000 / C9000 Series

Tip:
Upon installation of a new device, there is no need to initialize
the developing assemblies. If an initialization is executed, the
value of ATR is changed, thereby allowing possible light printing.
Initialization of developing assemblies is only needed at the
time of assembly replacement.
Tip: When a customer complains about an image quality issue, it
is good to ask this question, “When was the last time calibrations
were done on this machine?” or “In what order were the calibrations
done?” If the answer to these questions cannot be answered
clearly, here is a guide that will assist you in ensuring consistent
quality output.
First, execute Shading Correction. If possible, use
the I1 spectrophotometer for this step.
Next , execute the Full Auto Adjust Gradation.
Finally, calibrate the RIP. If an EFI controller
is being used, use of the I1 spectrophotometer is best.
These adjustments will ensure optimal print quality.
