Could be something causing it not to print in the system software or switches of the machine. Had a problem with a ir5000 not wanting to print, after checking and reloading system software with no help, I finally did a MMI Clear and then after putting back in the IP address and the other setting, everything starting working. Have had to use the MMI clear a couple of times after that on other machine, always worked.
Make sure your CA Key isn't corrupted. Check it under System Settings/Network Settings/TCP-IP Settings/Certificate Settings. If you don't have a green light or its not installed, you will not print. Have to generate a new key.
The glass maybe half full, but less is more...
Printer + Fax + Copier = Jack Of Many Trades,
but Master Of None
Color Copier = Not A Color Printer
InkJet MFP = Not A Fax Machine
B/W Copier = Not A Press
Finisher = Deal Closer (salesman, not accessory)
Copier Tech = Admin's Stress Ball (Scapegoat)
what key / certificate are u talking about ?
Multi-Pdl E1 Kit does not have a License Key Certificate for 4570
it included a N Boot Rom
Printer kits with boot rom-have no license
The Printer Kits for many of the newer Canon devices are LMS based. The Boot ROM on these devices will always end with a C.

I believe he is referring to the CA-Key Clear in second level of Service Mode. That can become corrupted. He is not referring to a license key, as in the LMS system...
ok !!/ have seen that issue only with a message on control panel> Corrupt Key
Generating a Key Pair and Server Certificate/ instructions below

Ah, well we might be on to something! I did have to generate a new key, as I was receiving a corrupt key error. The procedure seemed to work OK, and the message was gone afterward, but it did all start happening at the same time that printing apparently quit working.
Honestly, I'd forgotten about it, as it was over a week between fixing the other iR4570, and finally getting word that this one hadn't been printing the entire time.
I just tried inputting another default key, but do I need to delete the old one first, or after I've created a new one?
FIRST u can clear CA-KEY IN LEVEL 2
1. Go to ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS>SYSTEM SETTINGS>NETWORK SETTINGS>TCP/IP SETTINGS>CERTIFICATE SETTINGS>
2. Generate Key
3. Key Name: Input CANON
4. Select 1024 as the key length
5. Input the current date as the start date
6. Input an end date with current month and date settings but with the year listed as 2025
7. Start Key Generation
8. Go to Certificate Settings and select Key and Certificate List
9. Highlight Default Key and press Erase
10. Exit out of System Settings and Additional Functions.
