Thanks a lot, going to replace it tonight
check for wear on the fuser pressure roller and bearings as well. The metal filings have been known to get into bearings and interfere with the bias on the upper fuser roller. this can give E069 as well.
I've seen this happen on a IR8500
E-069 can also come from a fixing bias short. The bushings could be in backwards or broken. The reboot this device message can be reset, but it's been a while since we had one of the messages. I am sure someone in here knows where it is located. Maybe in the service mode or thru additional functions.
Is the glass half full or half empty? I say neither. The glass is obviously full, full of potential. The potential to hold more water or the potential to quench a thirst. Life is all about how you see it.
behind the corona transfer, the outside behind the main car is a concetor which causes error 0069. remove the screw and pull out the plug and reboot the machine. I have had this problem and pulled the plug out, the machine worked. this connector oxidizes and goes bad.
No e69 anymore but still saying reboot this device...
Select "Additional Functions", then "System Settings" you will notice that the "Clear Message Board" soft switch is highlighted then select "Clear Message Board". To prevent the message from returning, open the Remote User Interface (RUI) by entering the copiers IP address in an Internet Browser address window, select "Additional Functions", then "Edit". Un-check the "Status Display" and "Pop-up Window" boxes.
If the message persists then enter Service Mode > Copier > Function > Clear > MMI select the OK key and cycle the Main Power Switch. Be aware that all user mode settings will be cleared.
