    Canon ir 105 Problem

Canon 105 started to act weird, when I'm doing copy, it grabs paper from the tray and than stops, the sound is like it's printing, but nothing than just keeps saying "Reboot this device" after reboot the same thing. Does anybody know what can be a solution?

    Thank you

You probably need to get rid of the reboot message by clearing the message board and check your jam codes and try other trays.

How does the screen look. Is it red when it says reboot this device.

Are there numbers showing, like E000xxx-xxxx

Had this issue with an iR5055 this week, copier was shoved up against a partition and the scanner cable was getting crushed. Re-seating both cables resolved my issue.

Check your cables and connectors on the reader and main unit.

Thanks that helped but for long, still have "reboot this device" on the screen, printer and copier works, but sometimes still getting error 000069-0000 usually after 5-6 pages of the large job, 2000-3000 pages, small ones are ok. I understood that cable can be a reason but which one, should I replace the cables? if it's possible.

E069 has to do with the transfer/separation corona assembly. If it's life is over 100%, replace it, otherwise, restring the corona and see if that takes care of it...
