Likes: Bypass will only allow stmt selection. Other sizes give message to adjust side guides. Switched entire unit with a machine right next to it. No change. Initialized common and copy settings. Wonder if there a setting in service mode that might help.

Check these settings.
Under Additional Functions> Common Setting> Stack Bypass Standard Setting.
Check that the setting is set to off. If set to on only the specified paper size will feed.

Service Mode adjustments.
1) Go to COPIER>FUNCTION>CST in Service Mode
2) Set the Side Guides of the Stack Bypass to A4R position.
3) Select MF-A4R on the screen and press the OK button.
4) Set the Side Guides of the Stack Bypass to A6R position.
5) Select MF-A6R on the screen and press the OK button.
6) Set the Side Guides of the Stack Bypass to A4 position.
7) Select MF-A4 on the screen and press the OK button.
Is this the message.

Well that's crap,,, click on "settings" at the top of this screen and in your page there is a place to view reputation remarks,, maybe the culprit can be seen in that listing...
