After 5-6 copys on heavy paper, the magenta starts fade out.
After 8 copys the magenta is gone.
Also happend on 80gr paper, when i call it heavy paper.
I try new drum, transf unit, powerpack 1 and 4 (hsp to charge and transf.roll)
Any idear ?

Magenta Drops Out
While printing or copying with Heavy Media selected the magenta portion of the document would intermittently drop out.
Replace the Drum Drive Assembly. When replacing the Drum Drive Assembly ensure the wire harnesses are correctly routed and all screws are used to mount the assembly.
Missing Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, or Black on prints and copies
What will cause yellow, magenta, cyan, or black to be missing from all copies and prints as well as machine internal test prints?
Check the following items if you encounter yellow, magenta, cyan, or black missing from prints/copies:
* Drum unit - Physically inspect the drum to make sure it's in good condition and is turning properly, replace if necessary
* Drum ground tab - Check and clean the drum ground tab located inside the front drum access cover.
* Developer drive motor - Test for motor operation in service mode: Copier/Function/Part-Chk/Mtr, Y=18, M=19,C=20,K=21 Replace motor if necessary -
* Reseat connector J103 on DC Controller 2 Maisy pcb - (provides signals to developer motors), then run motor test again.
* DC Controller PCB 2, Maisy * Driver/Relay 3 PCB - Located behind main controller pcb and hvt assy).
* Drum drive assy -

Run a type PG10 with regular paper. Do like 50 pages. Does magenta drop.
The image is form on the drum first then transfer to the belt. What about the primary rollers in the ITB.
What the count on this unit anyway??

UPDATE : Not powerpack, but hv unit 1-2 has been replaced without solution.
hi teckat
There are no problem on 80gr paper, therefor i dont think there is a motor/drive problem.
Thanks for your post, anyway ;-)
Right on point Teckat.
That's why it prints slower as well when you use heavy paper.
Pull off that right side panel that has that caution sticker on it and you can see the ITB belt.
Run 50 PG TPYE 5 for magenta only. Look at the belt as the images are formed. If magenta drops out, then you can isolate and narrow down what the issue may be.
