    Yes, I am a nerd.
Gaming PC - check. Raspberry Pi - Check. Custom ROM on phone - check. Thick glasses - check.

    u mean a iRC1022 or a iR1022---

E197 0000 Printer engine communication error
Erroneous communication between the DC controller PCB and image processor PCB was detected.
    - Check the connectors of the DC controller PCB and image processor PCB.

i would first check the outlet for proper voltages--especially Neutral to Ground reading/Hot to Neutral / Neutral to Hot ////??? post here to view
Below are two examples of where to place your meter leads to measure ground to neutral on 120VAC wall outlets.

it has been determined that less than .5 volt AC should be measured between ground and neutral. If absolute zero is measured then it may be an indication that the ground is not connected or that some other problem may exist within the outlet. Note: This is not a machine or a Canon specification.

Also note: Outlet readings utilizing a "hand held" circuit meter are only a "snapshot" of the voltage at the time of the reading. Fluctuations, spikes, surges and drops in voltage sometimes require a long term reading such as can be achieved with a line monitor.

The voltage should be 120 VAC +-10% (108 VAC to 132 VAC). The voltage should be relatively stable and not swinging within the 10% range.

is it only when printing to the imageRUNNER
if so---try reloading the System Software

or is occurring at power on
if so---could be the power supply pcb assembly-

E197 -0008 = Error in Fixing Drawer Connector connection detection

1.Check the connection between the Main Driver PCB (PCB2) and the Fixing Drawer.
Main Driver side: J105, Fixing Drawer (host machine side):J3001D
Check the Harness of the Fixing Drawer (Fixing side)(J3001L).

    2. Replace the Main Driver PCB (PCB2).
----- Connection between the DC Controller PCB (PCB1) and the Main Driver PCB (PCB2) is disconnected.

    Re: iR7095 error E197-0000

I ran accross this problem on 2 seperate 6075's after moving/shipping. The connector that the fuser/duplex assy fits into can get knocked out of position. Pull unit "all" the way out reach in to the connector on the machine frame and make sure it's set properly and making good contact. Worked for me both times.
