    New pre trans

    SUBJECT:
    New Type Pre-Transfer Corona
    This Technical Publication informs the field of a New Type Pre-Transfer Corona.
    DETAILS:
    The original Pre-Transfer Corona was found to be subject to breakage. When inserted into the engine, the
    broken area of the Guide Plate allows the Corona to tilt, come into contact with the Photosensitive Drum,
    and damage it.
    When the Photosensitive Drum becomes damaged from the broken Pre-Transfer Corona, the image quality
    problem will look like this:
    Area that breaks
    Area that scratches the
    Photosensitive Drum

          I see it,
          That pre assy does not look like the one I have but I get it.

          Misunderstood my ass.
          Canon understood this right from the start.
          I know this from talkin with head tech's
          never should have left the factory.

          What it was is just a very small run proof mach, to only run proof's....thats it

          Why would you need a proof copier ?
          ya got to run it on the one your working with anyway!
