The manual can be downloaded here. I would pay attention to chapter 10. The AE exposure
adjustment may get you where you want to be. Have not touched one of these clam shells
in a long time. Doesn't it have a density control in the front upper shell area? There used to
be a procedure when placing a new drum in the copier to get the bias set up. Cleaning the
charge corona may have put this out of wack,, worth investigating at any rate...

You can adjust the height of corona wires on charge and transfer sections,there is one plastic screw at each end.
And make sure you clean the last mirrors located underneath scanner section covered by a black housing.

Did you notice this was a 4 year old thread? He sure has patient customers if he hasn't fixed it by now. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
