Send Button or Universal Send Kit problems on ir 6570 and ir105

    Hello guys,

I need some professional help about this function. I've not second hand ir6570. It comes with books for Send function, but on the display I can't see it. I suppose that it is somehow hidden or not activates. Any ideas how to solve the problem?

From what I read in the forum, I made some checks:
    1. <copier><display><acc-sts> there is no SEND
    2. <copier><option><body> there is no UI-SEND, neither UI-RSCAN

I've got also ir105 M2, but I do not know whether this machine has the ability to use Universal Send Kit ... From the brochure I guess it has no.

As far as your iR105 goes, as long as it has Universal Send, it will work with the M2 Fiery RIP.

The data simply uses the RIP ad a bridge, and the data passes through.

    Is the machine an iR105, or a 105+ ?

There are some large differences between them.

teckat: thanks for the reply, the conclusion is that I have no Universal Send Kit on this machine, so I have to contact the closest Canon office.

KenB: The machine is ir105, without +. I checked that
    <copier><display><acc-sts> there is SEND = 1

I suppose that it has Universal Send. I used already Fiery scan to scan from a PC the documents, But the idea was the operator to scan from the machine and to send them on shared PC. If this is possible, pls give me some hints.
