    Suddenly getting blank pages

I just started getting only blank pages from my Canon. I have no idea what happened to caused this.

However, to save even more money on my last refill I refilled the black cartridge with cacao powder, the cyan with blueberry powder, the magenta with beet powder, and the yellow with turmeric powder (I realize the colors might be a bit off but it should compensate for this during calibration right?). I made sure they were all ground finely enough to not cause any problems. Of course these wouldn't melt onto the paper as they get fused, so I took white plastic pellets and ground them into a fine powder and did about a 1:5 mix of ground plastic to colored powder for each which should be more than enough to properly fuse the colors.

Any idea why I'm getting blank pages?

I got a great idea for once we resolve the above problem, would finely ground parmesan cheese work instead of the plastic powder? That way once I'm done with a print, I can just scrape it off the paper with a spatula and eat it! And each color will have a different flavor! Not sure that blueberry-parmesan is such a good mix though, I might just toss the prints with lots of cyan on them.

Come to think of it, sugar melts also and is probably less messy, it's probably better to use powdered sugar, and will definitely go better with the blueberry.

Either he got h4x0r3d or burned a fuse in his head - either way, he's making a lot more sense now!

I just realized I did something really stupid, with the cost of blueberries the blueberry powder actually costs more than toner! So for cyan I'll use toner, but beet powder, turmeric & cacao are much cheaper than toner.

I can't believe I was so stupid as to use a refill that costs more than toner refills! At least the cacao, beet and turmeric powders are brilliant ideas.
