    Cheers!

USB-Parallel cable (FY9-4368-000) supports Windows Vista with Service Support Tool (SST) v4.22 or above.
USB-Parallel cable (FY9-4154-000) does not support Windows Vista regardless of the version of SST.

I'm assuming the one supporting Windows Vista will work with previous OSes, right?

How much can one of these cost, more or less?

Last I remember, somewhere in the $100 - $125 range.

Note: Don't try to be a hero (like I did), and find a $20 USB to parallel cable at a computer store. It won't work.

Do you have any idea if those will work with other brands (namely old Konica machines)?

Can't say I ever tried it with a Konica.

Thumbs up Re: ir3300 system software

Whats up jwalton4th from Springfield, MO sounds like your a nice guy on this site for a change and not just trying to sell something like this jack from Las Vegas thats all about the money..Manuals$4U it should be called money for him. I've been reading on this site now for a couple of years and finally joined today because I'm getting sick of this guy. I own a small business repairing copiers now for the last 13 years and repairing them for Kodak for 12 years and after going out on my own I needed a resource for help once or twice a year on problems and this is one of the best sites that I have come by. Iv'e been putting off joining because I don't use it that much and haven't had the time and didn't want to get crap like the stuff this crap head gives to people because they don't want to buy it and I don't blame them. How many firmware and software updates do you think I have bought over the years--ALOT I'm now going to get involved with this site and help with problems if I can on Canon machines. Thanks

Without manuals4you we wouldn't have the website and just because his personality doesn't mesh with yours you shouldn't stay away. Chime in and help out when you can or ask when you have an issue. But please read the rules before bashing.

    Re: ir3300 system software

You do realize this post originated in Nov.2010 -
The person u speak of who sells Manuals, pays the host of this site forum to advertise and sell their product.

There are many posters in here who choose to give away or trade for hardware and software.
Manual offers need to be done in private e-mails-
I personally have given away an enormous amount of stuff. I now try to be more discrete on who receives this information.
As you will learn, this can be a cut throat forum
    .

    good luck
