Check to see if the fixing temperature is increasing in service mode ??
    COPIER>DISPLAY>ANALOG>FIX-C and FIX-E.
If the fixing temperature is not increasing, check the duplex connector, both on the duplex unit as well as the rear of the copier. Assure there is no damage, or paper caught in the connectors.

SUSPEND message on display. Fuser is not warming up. May also say RESERVATION COPIES CAN BE MADE and the fuser is not heating up.

    Solution :
When SUSPEND or RESERVATION COPIES CAN BE MADE appear on the display, there are two aspects of the machine to investigate. The finisher may have a malfunction or Duplex/Fuser-Transport is not seated correctly.

    • The easiest method to see if it is a finisher problems, is to unplug the finisher from the copier and see if message clears. Troubleshoot finisher for errors.
    • Check in service mode, IO, DCON P005 bits 13 and 14. When the Duplex and Fuser-Transport are inserted correctly the bits will read 0. Bit 13 = Duplex Bit 14 = Fuser-Transport. Resolve issue with tray to clear message.

Most of the time you will find a small piece of paper lodged in the duplex connector generating a false signal that the duplex is not pushed in correctly.

Thanks Teck, your post remind me to check fixing/feeder frame assemble and i found out the fixing/feeder lever sensor PS28 is faulty thats why it cant detect the handle lift up to ready when the front door closed.

But im little confuse on your note, would you like to explain? When i check in service mode, IO, DCON P005 there are few number like 01100101000101 something like that. Does the numbers represent something? Thanks

    - Check in service mode, IO, DCON P005 bits 13 and 14. When the Duplex and Fuser-Transport are inserted correctly the bits will read 0. Bit 13 = Duplex Bit 14 = Fuser-Transport. Resolve issue with tray to clear message.
