    Lol, until this point telling customers to do as told on the display works good enough. that is: Close the upper door first (firmly) close the bigger door after that.

    Hello, my machine CANON IR ADVANCE C5051 also does not complete to boot, shows a message "close the right cover of the device starting with the upper section"; I have tried what has already been posted in this thread but still in vain, my main challenge is where to get the part FC0-2779-000 (SHEET, SENSOR AUXILIARY) as one highlighted in attached file "TP10 377.pdf"

    Basicly, it's 3 pieces of sheet, together 1,5 mm think. I'd try and create (mcguyver) something alike with some pieces of tape.
