Canon CLC3200 printing out of focus

    Hello

If i made a color copy, the copy is perfect, but when i made a print, everything is out of focus.

I know the other side, when printing is ok and copying has problems, but not this what is happening to one of my clients.

Drivers are latest and tried in XP and Vista and still the same.

    Any ideas

Pg6 is needed to see if the issue is in Paper feed- or Cross feed Direction or both ways

if a color is out of alignment on a PG10 / REMOVE LASER and adjust cam/ I posted procedure a while ago

The "adjusting gradation" on the display sometimes the recalibrate the machine for a while. Even if the ITB is slipping. customers (and lesser techs) are sometimes confused if errors aren't all the time.

I just forgoted to upload prints today,PG6,print and copy.
All lines in PG6 are black, yellow, blue and red.
Copy is more clear and fine than printings.
I think is a problem with transfer belt more than laser cams.

When i trie to calibrate C1 controller,it could not detect "measure page",on the glass.
Therefore i said in my first post, printing i worst than copy Teckat.

From my experience transfer belt, can cause colors to be printed one above the other.
Or transfer belt cleaning blade, cannot clean perfectly transfer belt,so sensor under the fuser, which reads the belt, create the mixage of colors.
How do u think Teckat about this?

[it could not detect "measure page",on the glass.]

That means it detects your Registration is off on the measurement page/ all u have to do is look at that page- u will see the measurement color blocks are off/out of position-

Read the Pub & check items listed [ITB BELT/GEAR UNIT/LASER CAM

"Measure Page" is perfect in my eyes.I've seen that in many Fierys and every line or block is really perfect. All colors are in their place and there is no override.

????-Are u using the KODAK GREY SCALE to calib a page from the C1 ??

If Dept. ID mode is enabled on the copier, the scan function may be turned off in the following Dept. ID set up mode: Additional Functions - System Settings - Dept. ID Management - Register ID/Password - Scan = Off, resulting in 'Measurement Page Not Detected' being displayed when trying to scan the measurement page with the gray scale. If this is the case, you can enable scanning w/unknown ID's for calibration purposes with the following setting:
    * Additional Functions - System Settings - Dept. ID Management - Accept Scan Jobs W/Unknown ID's =ON
    * Be sure to turn Scan W/Unknown ID's to off after calibration is completed.
    * Also, if you're not sure if there is something under user settings preventing you from performing the scan you can perform an MMI clear in service mode under Copier/Function/Clear/MMI, this will reset all user settings to default. If you perform the MMI clear you may need to reset service mode Copier - Option - Int-Face - Img-Cont to '3'. (Even though it still appears to be set at 3, other wise 'Check The TCP/IP' may appear at the bottom left of the display and the imagePass C1 and the C3200 will not communicate).
    * If you are calibrating a copier version of the imageRUNNER C3200 be sure to perform a full autogradation using: Additional Functions - Adjustment Cleaning prior to calibrating the imagePASS C1.

it's not the override of Colors I am talking about.
It is the entire block position of them on the page that is off.

    I had 45 of these 3200/3220 Printers at an in-house account- a while ago/

Try a Clear R-Con of the Reader and Perform a CCD adjustment.
    - Before u clear RCON-print out a P Print data sheet, so u are able to re-input RCON Settings

U need to follow the PDF Procedures or call for an Experienced Tech

***If u do not want to follow a procedure on an image issue on this model/ u are wasting my time/ the other Forum responders time & your time.

U have to learn, there is no quick fix or waving a wand over the printer
