If you research further here, that topic has been discussed a great deal, search on 0107 jamming. There is indeed paper curl, induced by the fuser, mostly occurs in damp weather. There is a procedure to reduce this problem, the gist of the fix is lowering the fuser temp in service mode...

    COPIER > OPTION > BODY
FIX-LOW= Improving fixing at low temperatur
    e
    Note: Valid for iR3570/3570F/4570/4570F only
    <Setting range>
0: OFF [Default], 1: Low-temperature fixing improvement mode ON

Controlling the Power Supply in Response to Low Temperature
In a low temperature environment, the heater is supplied with power before the fixing film is driven so as to soften the grease applied to the fixing film. The mechanism of control is as follows:
If the temperature of the fixing film detected by the thermistor is lower than a specific level, the heater is supplied with power for a specific period of time before a normal start-up mechanism is initiated.
If the temperature of the fixing film detected by the thermistor is higher than a specific level, the normal start-up mechanism is imitated.
In a low temperature environment, the feeding timing is changed according to the
temperature detected by the environment sensor so as to enhance the fixing capability. The details are described below.
When the environment sensor detection temperature is 13 deg C or less, the feeding timing is delayed by 5000 msec.
In thick paper mode, the feeding timing is not changed even if the environment sensor detection temperature is 13 deg C or less.

Regarding the 70gsm paper, jam in duplex mode. in my experiance increase a little bit the pressure roller tension will solve this problem.

Temperature is the issue with the paper curl, not pressure. Increasing pressure would induce more curl I believe...

Today I conducted a test of the ir2270 fixing film assembly in an ir3570 copier, it worked fine for at least 4000 copies don't worry paper well used, only copy jobs where paper would be used in future.

Well the fixing film failed it began to shred and tear. I did this checkmto see if there is a difference in both fixing units or if the were interchangeable by changing off the power connector ends.

Fortunately the unit did not last as long as the ones that are recommended.

The black film is the same, the thermal capacity of the heating units is different, along with the 3-4 wire connector. I have always wondered why they could not get along with a single model and just manage the temp needs in software...

you try to print first with simple mode, if you notice that the paper don't sort aligned (dish shape), then it is the problem of paper that make jam in the machine

Re: iR4570 - fixing film jam

My IR 3045 Do the same
the Paper stops in the middle of the fixing unit. when i removed the paper it is folded like an accordion.

I tried all 4 trays and did the same thing
    Paper Orientation: Portait

I did notice that when i place the paper in Landscape it works much better but will jam after couple of copies and some of the copies have fold in the middle. so it goes out of the machine shorter than other copies.
    Error: 1017, 0202, 0102, 0201

All sensors checked, - not sticking
    right door flapper check
    Fixing unit rolls fine

    Paper: SUB20/70gsm
