Smile canon IR8500 paper jam 01B0

    hi friends,
I have some problem with IR8500 paper jam after transfer/sep corona unit.jam code 01B0.
I put an actuator at the front door switch and watched the paper transport , I found that under the drum paper jumping . some times paper going inside the drum unit, I installed a new transfer corona unit and replaced separation fan also then same problem..If anybody have suggestions pl. send it me.

    thanks

See if there is record of short circuit in service mode (Copier - Display - Alarm2).

Had this problem once. Changed all the chargers with same result. Heard from another tech that I should clear then DCON and then re input number from door. Sure enough that was the answer. Something to do with software corruption. Strange problem for sure. It worth a shot.

Do u mean jam 010B ?> delay jam to Inside Delivery sensor
if so>check upper fuser roller drive gear & bearings
or Paper Pickup Drive Assembly, or the Pickup Motor M2>running slow may cause a registration problem and possibly an 010B jam code

If the paper is going into the cleaner unit, then you have a separation problem. Check the connector block for the trans/sep unit at the rear of the drawer for cracks, etc. Make sure the mounting bracket holds the assembly snug when installed. Check the return clips underneath the corona assembly. Inside the machine, make sure that the contacts are not deformed. This is common on these machines. Also improperly assembled upper fuser roll assembly can cause AC bias to short out, dragging down AC for separation. Bad pre-transfer assembly can drag down AC bias. Saw this alot on NP 6050 series. All of this is only if you are getting paper into drum unit. If not then,as suggested, ufr gear, etc.
