    just wondering wud just resetting the copier to factory default and set up as new wud help & If yes how do I go about it

    There is no factory default setting.

    Just go under system settings, & check the date & time setup for your area location.

    Do u have an external Fiery connected_?
    If so_print out a config page to check it's settings,
    look for date & time_?

    Just an FYI I had to do this too on a used machine I purchased and it didn't seem to help UNTIL I turned off the machine and restarted it via the physical switch on the machine and rebooted it. Then the password screen went away.

    All Canon copiers need to be rebooted to clear error.

    Are u trained on C2030 ADVANCED SERIES
    there is no CLEAR>COUNTER
    what counter are u looking to clear ?? a durable part-

    Clear of DC Controller service counter
    Lv.1 Details To clear the service counter counted by the DC Controller PCB.
    Use case= When clearing the service counter counted by the DC Controller PCB
    Adj/set/operate method = Select the item, and then press OK key.
