    C3200-C1 removal

I need to remove a bad ImagePass C1 from a C3200. Is there a board I have to put back in the copier when I take the other one out and remove the imagepass box?

    Thanks

There is no card needed to replace the I/F board, and if it is to be a copier only, then it already has the C boot rom in it from the imagePASS configuration...

It is going to be networked, the ethernet port seems to be live, I was trouble shooting the machine to find out what was wrong and confirmed the system software in the machine through the ethernet card in the copier.

The ethernet port will work to load software, and allow the customer to utilize RUI as it sits. But to print to it, you will need a network boot rom and the Color Network Multi-PDL Printer Kit-
A1 or A2. I can't recall, but I think the NBoot rom is in that kit, Teckat has a better handle on what is in them, I think he has the Canon configurator book at his disposal...

The PDL printer kit A2 will work on the 3200 and 3220 and comes with the boot rom and what is called a SURF board which assist in the processing of images.
