Just imaged one last week. The disks are provided with the imagepass, definitely need to make sure they are saved somewhere. The disks are not Canon property, that is why we have no way to download them from Canon. EFI is the owner of the software. If you do not have them onsite, best bet is another customer that you might borrow them from. There is a single patch that encompasses all past updates into a single file for installation. You will need to have Command Workstation installed on a PC on their network, or on your laptop to push the file to the direct queue of the fiery.

I've had luck removing the CMOS battery for about 5 minutes then getting a successful boot again, BUT you have to reprogram the Fiery. Should come up to "select Language" screen first.
After all is said and done, More is said than done.

Re: Canon ir7105, imagepass S2 wont boot.

I've got a client who has an S-2, won't boot. Doesn't have the CD's. I don't know anyone who has this unit.

Would y'all have CD's or an image I can use to boot?

    Matt
