Hello Guyz,
i have a Canon 8400 with an error of E02813. Any guide as to how to fix this one.
Can printerhead problem be a cause for this?
thanks

The book says:
E02813/ E02814/ Head management sensor error
<Cause>
The head management sensor has detected an ink discharge error.
A sensor sensitivity error was detected during position adjustment of the head management sensor.
<Probable problem locations>
Printhead, head management sensor, engine controller and system controller
<Remedy>
1. Replace the printhead.
2. Visual check
Remove any foreign objects adhering to the head management sensor.
3. Replace the head management sensor.
4. Cable connection check
Replace the cable between the head management sensor and engine controller if the connection is not functioning normally.
5. Replace the engine controller.
6. Replace the system controller.
My experience would say:
Leave the print-head for last.
Remove the head management sensor and check if it is dirty.
If yes clean. If not the problem is not there.
Move the print-head away from purge unit and remove the 2 caps from the purge unit.
There should be pretty much the same kind of dirt (wet ink) on both seats.
If you see that one is dirty or wet and the other is dry, than the problem is at the purge unit. One of the tubes is not sucking as it should.
Check the tubes. Do you see any air inside the tubes ?
Check and report...
IS THIS THE SAME PRINTER FILLED WITH NON CANON INKS ?????
