IR2520 constantly saying load paper

mr. borsody is 100% correct. i faced same problem in many 25series machines. i also solved this problem by replacing
casette lock arm stoper.

You are not able to order cassette lock arm stopper, look at the attachment for the new part.

I had the same problem with my Canon Image Reader 2525 & after trying many solutions, I found that due to overloading of paper-tray, one paper was jammed into the spring(which is behind the paper-tray). When I removed that paper the problem get solved.

Your explanation is very clear, understandable and easy to follow.
I just did what you did and now my ir2520 is recognising the loaded paper.
