thanks canon tech. i heard that this machine are not good as ir 5010 and 5020 series is that true? do its fixing assy always ruined?

upper fuser gear and clips break, causing ecodes
you get e001, 002, 003, 004, caused by mechanical or other mysterious problems..
you can rebuild completely and still get e001 again.
therenis a system software upgrade for e002 dc-con 35.01

thanks guys. im not realy familiar on this machine in looking forward on the ir advance 6000 series but not yet launch here in our country. what can you say on this machine guys?

so far no real problems with advance 6000.
The fuser is an "improved" version of the 5570
I saw, and heard of a few e001 and other fuser codes.
Teckat posted some bulletins for 6000-- see them.
There were some earlier bulletins about pinched wires at the back of transport , fix it with a protective mylar.
